It’s Friday again and what a variable week it has been with the weather.
Last weekend was the tail end of the warm Spring weather and calm winds, bringing great views along the route as we went into Inverness on the Saturday morning.
Yesterday we woke up to winter wonderland again - with a layering of snow throughout the wood. However even by 8.00am the temperature was rising and causing a fast melt to settle in, with snow falling from the trees as I headed out with the camera taking Willow out for her walk before work.
Later in the day most of the snow had gone with more wet weather following it through the day.
After finishing work for the week, I went on my Friday evening hill run, taking the pocket camera this time to record some of the views, as the sun was actually shining! This particular run, whatever the weather, just reminds me of the amazing location we are currently living, having these views within 10 minutes run from home. I definitely want to return one day with the DSLR for a sunset from that elevated location.
The crowning moment of the day was while sitting in the dining room when it started to rain heavily while the sun was still peering through the trees as it dropped lower in the sky. A very atmospheric moment!
