I’m always on the look out for suitable conditions to capture reflections and when this is combined with golden hour timing and colours it’s a double win.
This particular evening was one of those occasions, where after a very pleasant day in the Highlands with lots of sun, I saw the wind speed was due to be very low early this evening.
Loch Laide is just under 4 miles from where we live and seemed an appropriate location to visit as it was nearby without too great an inconvenience being caused if it turned out a wasted visit.
The conditions however turned out to be absolutely perfect - with the collection of photos below showing the golden hour light and ever deepening colours as the sun dropped down to the horizon.
The usual ‘panoramic moment’!
