The winter months seemed to past really quickly this time around. Here’s a selection of photos taken in January when we also had some decent periods of snow.
Moon and Jupiter
The highlight for me was getting such clear views of Saturn with the moon one evening- where it was even possible to make out the rings of Saturn in the photos I was able to take.
Aurora Borealis - Northern Lights
These photos are taken from our garden one night.
Including faint views of the Milky Way above the glow of the aurora.
Also had a great example of the Aurora SAR arc one evening
Snowfall
We didn’t have excessive amounts of snow but it transformed the scenery around us when it came.
Glen Torridon visit
And finally just a few photos taken on a road trip to Glen Torridon and surrounding area.
